Dr. Noreen Hasan, M.D., has joined the medical staff at St. Bernards Senior Health Clinic, a facility which provides comprehensive health assessments, consultations and treatments for older adults.
A board certified geriatrician, Dr. Hasan also holds board certification in internal medicine. She served a residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College, Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in New York and completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y.
She holds a medical degree from Dow Medical College.
Dr. Hasan comes to St. Bernards after working as a staff physician at Hudson Valley Veterans Hospital in Montrose, N.Y. Before that she was a staff physician in the Department of Medicine and Geriatrics at the Bronx V.A. Medical Center involving primary acute inpatient and geriatric outpatient clinics, sub acute and long-term care. She also taught and mentored medical residents in training.
She formerly was in private practice in Stony Point, N.Y., and worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a staff physician for primary care clinics and an acute care hospital unit in Castle Point, N.Y. She also has worked in emergency medicine.
Dr. Hasan is seeing patients at the St. Bernards Senior Health Clinic at 303 East Matthews, Suite 201. She is one of three board certified geriatricians on staff at the Clinic. Appointments may be made by calling 336-5080 or 800-738-7421.
