The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy and St. Bernards Medical Center will co-sponsor a free health screening at The Mall at Turtle Creek on Friday July 8.
The event will begin at 9 in the morning and continue until 4 in the afternoon. Area residents will be able to take advantage of blood glucose testing, blood pressure checks, body mass index assessments and bone density screenings. A limited number of cholesterol screenings will be available.
For best results, blood glucose and cholesterol screenings should be done following fasting for 8 to 12 hours.
The screening will be set up at center court at the mall.
