St. Bernards Recognized for Marketing Efforts

St. Bernards Medical Center was recognized for excellence in marketing and public relations at the annual meeting of the Arkansas Hospital Association.

The hospital received one Diamond Award,  three Certificates of Excellence and two Certificates of Merit in the AHA’s 2011 Diamond Awards competition.

The Diamond Award was for the overall marketing campaign for Women’s Heart Health.

The Certificates of Excellence were in the advertising category. One was for a print ad for St. Bernards 110th “birthday;” one was for  an “I Win” breast cancer awareness campaign; and the other was for the design of an “I Will” T-shirt given to secondary school athletes who took part in screenings at the HMG Expo.

One Certificate of Merit was for a 2010 “local favorites” print ad; and the other was for the publication Community Healthcare Newsletter.

“We are pleased to be recognized for excellence in sharing information with our community,” said Laura Pickens, vice president for marketing and public relations. She credited TRUE Visionary Marketing as a collaborator on the award-winning work.
