St. Bernards will host a free lunch and learn at noon on Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Conference Room at the new St. Bernards Health & Wellness Institute at 1416 East Matthews Avenue on the eastern end of the Matthews Medical Mile.
Topic for the hour-long session will be “Beginning Your Exercise Journey.” It will serve as a reminder that exercise is not a destination – it’s a journey.
The presenter will be Jim Stearns, St. Bernards staff member who oversees the medical center’s cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program. Stearns is active in the Ridge Rider Athletic Club, an organization that promotes health, fitness & competition in Northeast Arkansas through a series of events for cyclists, runners and more.
A light lunch will be provided.
Persons interested in attending must register for the session by calling 870-336-4912 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Tuesday, Feb. 21.
The February lunch and learn is sponsored by the Craighead County Community Foundation, the Blue and You Foundation and Genetech.
