Marty Algee has been named wound management director at Paragould Wound Healing Center, a department of St. Bernards Medical Center in collaboration with Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
A longtime Northeast Arkansas resident, Algee holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Arkansas State University. He has an extensive background in medical marketing and management, having worked as a representative for the global pharmaceutical giant Novartis for more than a decade.
He will oversee operations at the Paragould Wound Healing Center, a facility that opened earlier this month to provide specialized wound care for patients whose chronic and traumatic wounds have not healed after a 30-day regimen of traditional care.
Algee and his wife, Kelly, live in Jonesboro with their children, Jake, 10, and Kate, 5. They are active in Journey Campus, a ministry of Central Baptist Church on the Arkansas State University campus.
Paragould physicians Drs. Dwight Williams, Lance Monroe and Alberto Fonticiella see patients at the clinic, which is located at One Medical Drive, Suite 201. Patients can be physician referred or self referred and may contact the clinic by calling 870-240-8163. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
