Harry
Hutchison, vice president and chief financial officer for St. Bernards
Healthcare, has been honored by the Arkansas Chapter of the Healthcare
Financial Management Association as a recipient of the HFMA Founders Medal of
Honor.
Hutchison
has served as the chief financial officer at St. Bernards since 2005. He has
worked in the field of healthcare finance for more than 30 years and holds
fellow status in HFMA. He currently is
an Adjunct Professor in the ASU College of Business teaching an introductory
class in Healthcare Finance.
The Founders
Medal of Honor recognizes members who have contributed to the chapter’s growth
and success over an extended period of time.
Hutchison has earned the requisite awards for service and served as the
Chapter’s President in 1999.
“I have been
very blessed to have worked with some very fine people over the years who have
helped me along the way, and I am so fortunate to work for an organization like
St. Bernards. St. Bernards is dedicated
to providing Christ-like Healing to the patients we serve. It is such a blessing to work with others
toward this mission, “Hutchison said.
“There are
also many dedicated members in the Arkansas Chapter of HFMA who have helped and
meant so much to me over the years. I am
indeed thankful to receive this award, but also I realize there are many
deserving of it.”
Hutchison
stresses he would not be able to do anything without the support of his
family.
