St. Bernards Recognizes Employees for Years of Service

 

Fifty-seven employees – including three with 30 years or more of service – were honored at a recent quarterly employee recognition dinner at St. Bernards Medical Center. Honorees included those whose employment anniversary dates came in the third quarter of 2012 and whose length of service fell into five-year increments.

The honorees accounted for nearly 700 years of service to St. Bernards, with one having been on staff for 35 years, two for 30 years, six for 25 years, seven for 20 years, 11 for 15 years, 10 for 10 years and 20 for five years.

Employees represent 12 towns and communities in five different Arkansas counties. In Craighead County, 33 are from Jonesboro; two are from Brookland; four are from Bono; one is from Caraway; one is from Cash; and three are from Lake City. Four employees are from Greene County; one is from Mississippi County; seven are from Poinsett County; and one is from White County.

The 30-year-plus employees all are from Craighead County. Jonesboro residents are Judith Moore who works in surgery and has been on staff for 35 years and Rebecca Mize who works in home health and has been on staff for 30 years. Lake City resident Shelia Lowrey works in one day surgery and has been on staff for 30 years.

Twenty-five-year employees include four from Jonesboro and one each from Bono and Marked Tree. Jonesboro residents are Daurice Alexander who works on 1 East, Deborah Newberry who works in surgery, Jo Curtis who works in dialysis and Nancy Tucker who works in post anesthesia care. Randy Reynolds of Bono works in the gastroenterology lab; and Penny Jones of Marked Tree works in women’s diagnostic services at the Outpatient Imaging Center.

Twenty-year employees include five from Jonesboro and two from Trumann. Jonesboro residents are Kathy Kee who works on 2 East, Delaine Lagrone Johnson who works in home health, Karan McAlister who works in home health, Marva Murphy who works in accounting and Adria Whitmire who works in accounting. Trumann residents are Dee Collins who works in women’s diagnostic services at the Outpatient Imaging Center and Tammy Richards who works in non-invasive cardiology.

Fifteen-year employees include six from Jonesboro and one each from Bono, Caraway, Cash, Lake City and Paragould. Jonesboro residents are Kevon Anderson who works in information technology, Marsha Bond who works in intensive care, Tammy Dunigan who works in the lab, Susan Greenwood who is vice president for quality, safety and risk management, Tina Lesley who works in women’s diagnostic services at the Outpatient Imaging Center and Tracie Simpson who works in radiology.

Other 15-year honorees are Christy Eldridge of Bono who works in admitting, Diane James of Caraway who works in the reference lab, Jamie Anderson of Cash who works in women’s diagnostic services at the Outpatient Imaging Center, Kathy Davis of Lake City who works at the Outpatient Imaging Center and Terry Rabey of Paragould who works in pre-admission testing.

Of the 10 employees who were honored for 10 years of service, six are from Jonesboro, two from Harrisburg and one each from Brookland and Paragould. Jonesboro residents include Stephanie Harris who works in respiratory care, Charlotte Hopp who
works on 1 Main, Sharon D. Pointer who works on 2 East, Jody Richardson who works in radiology, Threcia Riddle who works in respiratory care and Keith Weyer who works in respiratory care.

Ten-year residents from Harrisburg are Taylor Belcher who works in the lab and Torey Murrell who works in pre-admission testing. Others are Laura Gramling of Brookland who works at the Senior Life Center and Cathy Gray of Paragould who works in the sleep lab.

Five-year employees include 10 from Jonesboro, two each from Bono and Paragould and one each from Brookland, Harrisburg, Judsonia, Lake City, Leachville and Trumann. Jonesboro residents are Gloria Coots who works at the Senior Life Center, Jonathan Denisco who works in environmental services, Ginger Fears who works in one day surgery, Lauren Ireland who works on 4 East, Vanessa Kendall who works on 4 East, Rose Mulligan who works in pharmacy, Laura Pickens who is vice president for marketing and public relations, Bridget Poe who works in radiology, Patricia Porter who works in the emergency department and Gladys Woodruff who works in nursing administration.

Five-year employees from Bono are Ruthie Brooks who works in the laundry and Donna Williams who works in the business office.  Those from Paragould are Kathleen Clark who works in the Center for Weight Loss and Rebecca Rieck who works on 2 North. Others are Tiffany Summers from Brookland who works in the patient services resource center, Terri Owens of Harrisburg who works at St. Bernards Behavioral Health, Carol Tierney of Judsonia who works in coding, Victoria Book of Lake City who works in the emergency department, Anahi Roldan of Leachville who works at the Senior Life Center and Peggy Coots from Trumann who works in home health.

Honorees received crystal desk awards in recognition of their service.
