Fifty-three employees – including six with more than 30 years of service – were honored at a recent quarterly employee recognition dinner at St. Bernards Medical Center. Honorees included those whose employment anniversary dates came in the first quarter of 2011 and whose length of service fell into five-year increments.
The honorees accounted for more than 700 years of service to St. Bernards, with one having been on staff for 40 years, one for 35 years, four for 30 years, seven for 25 years, three for 20 years, seven for 15 years, 12 for 10 years and 18 for five years.
Employees represent 11 towns and communities in six different Arkansas counties. In Craighead County 39 are from Jonesboro, one is from Bay, and one is from Brookland. Five employees are from Greene County – four from Paragould and one from Lafe. Three are from Lawrence County – one each from Alicia, Hoxie and Walnut Ridge. Two employees are from Trumann in Poinsett County. One is from Manila in Mississippi County. And one is from Wynne in Cross County.
Those who have been on staff for 30 years or more include Beverly Adams of Jonesboro with 40 years of service; Rory Pomerantz of Jonesboro, 35 years; and Rhonda Miller, Francis Perkins and Stanley Rowlett, all of Jonesboro, and Darrell Freeze of Hoxie, 30 years.
Twenty-five year employees include William Fires, Fred Gramlich, David Moore and Sandra Powell, all of Jonesboro; Bart Benson of Trumann; Dianne Meadors of Walnut Ridge; and Debbie Craig of Manila.
Twenty-year employees include Michael Cox and William Smith, both of Jonesboro, and Cynthia Cobble of Alicia.
Fifteen-year employees are Larry Bradley, Denice Fowler, Donna Fulbright, Charles Priest, Alicia Storey and Carol Windle, all of Jonesboro, and Deanna Reed of Trumann.
Ten-year employees include Tonya Brown, David Cameron, Don Cremeens, Michelle Davis, Becky Frederick, Tammy Hayes, Shawnda Krupicki, Dorothy Morris, Elizabeth Supine, Rashaun Walls and Tonya Wilson, all of Jonesboro; and Reda Lashlee of Bay.
Five-year employees include Debra Bolt, Jennifer Caldwell, Tameka Dollison, Lori Fitts, Shaunda Goodson, Alder Mahone, Sandra McCoy, Misty Pickle, Tracy Prine, Mary Ross, Lyndsey Taylor and Jeremy Timm, all of Jonesboro; Janice Judd of Lafe; Kathryn Eddington, Sheresa Exum, Lynn Johnson and Timothy Johnson, all of Paragould; and Teresa Brown of Wynne.
Honorees received crystal desk awards in recognition of their service.
